The Silver Psychology Center was established in 1978 with the mission of providing high quality
psychological services to Southwest Florida. The growth of the Silver
Psychology Center has come through referrals from doctors, attorneys, business
and other professionals, as well as satisfied patients.
Our practice is perhaps best known for its work with children and families. We have built a solid reputation for our expertise in the areas of psychological evaluations and the diagnosis of learning and academic performance problems. We are fortunate to have a number of specialists on our staff in the areas of child psychology, family psychology, and neuropsychology, whose training was attained from programs approved and accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Most of our treatment is problem-focused and short-term, but treatment may be extended when necessary. The majority of our patients come to us due to personal problems related to everyday stress, as well as family and marital problems and for children's learning and behavioral difficulties.
Because psychological treatment often deals with sensitive issues, we have been very selective in signing preferred provider agreements, avoiding carriers we believe make unreasonable demands or attempt to compromise confidentiality.
